Reflections from the Frontlines of the Fight Against Antisemitism

We didn’t just attend a conference. We stepped into auditorium rooms full of people who get it.
We came looking for tools, ideas, and partnerships. We left with fire in our core and a deeper understanding that the fight against antisemitism isn’t theoretical—it’s urgent, it’s local, and it’s personal.
At the ADL’s Never Is Now Summit, we joined sessions led by storytellers, educators, social media warriors, accidental activists, and lifelong advocates. Some came from the business world. Some from media. Some from schools. And some, like us, came from living rooms—where the hard conversations happen face-to-face.
We met people who started in marketing or journalism—like Archie Gottesman from JewBelong—who never meant to become activists, but couldn’t look away. People who turned frustration into action, and creativity into advocacy.
We met Loay Alshareef—a powerful non-Jewish voice and a normalizer for peace—who reminded us how critical it is that others speak up. Not just Jews. Allies. People with reach. With courage. With conviction. We need more like him.
We were reminded that Jewish spaces are filled with strength and determination—but they can still become echo chambers unless we bring more allies in. It’s not enough to “raise awareness” inside our circles. We have to step outside the expected—into neighborhoods, feeds, and friendships—and have the conversations others aren’t having.
We learned that the tools are there. The research exists. The frameworks are proven. What’s missing? Mass. Reach. Relentlessness. And maybe most of all—coordination. We need to connect the dots, collaborate more, and work smarter, not just harder.
We saw that we’re not alone—but we’re not enough. Not yet.
So, what now?
We keep going. We grow the network. We share what we learned. We create more moments of truth and connection. And we invite others in—not with blame or lectures, but with courage and curiosity.
Let’s think bigger, bolder, and outside the box.
Because the urgency isn’t coming—it’s already here.
