A Fellowship Opportunity from Our Trusted Partner, Rekindle
Building Community Thru Conversation is proud to recommend Rekindle’s first Atlanta cohort. Rekindle is a trusted partner whose work closely complements our own.
Rekindle is a national Fellowship that brings Black and Jewish leaders together for five structured seminars centered on honest dialogue, relationship-building, and shared action. Fellows address difficult subjects, learn from one another’s experiences, and explore each other’s cultures through small-group visits, meals, and gatherings. Each cohort also develops a collaborative community project, allowing the relationships formed through the Fellowship to create an impact beyond the program.
The Atlanta chapter is being launched by two local leaders with deep ties to Atlanta’s Black and Jewish communities and a shared commitment to strengthening the relationship between them.
BCTC and Rekindle both believe in the power of face-to-face conversation to move people beyond assumptions, build lasting connections, and inspire action, while offering complementary experiences.
BCTC brings people of all backgrounds together to explore one community’s story, helping neighbors, coworkers, fellow parents, activists, and peers move beyond headlines and everyday small talk to understand one another more deeply. Rekindle focuses specifically on Black and Jewish leaders, creating sustained conversations about the histories, experiences, challenges, and shared future of the two communities—and turning those relationships into collective action.
Fellows must attend at least four sessions, including the first and last.
