📅 May 2024 | 👩👩👧👧 22 interfaith women | 🌍 Expanding Across Georgia
In May 2024, 22 interfaith women came together for an evening of deep discussion, learning, and connection at our 3rd Building CommUNITY Thru Conversation (BCTC) event.

✨ What began as a grassroots initiative in East Cobb has now expanded to Sandy Springs, North Decatur, and soon—Gwinnett!
Why We Started BCTC?
The idea behind BCTC was born out of personal reflection and a deep need for meaningful discussion. In the wake of October 7th, many felt:
❌ Hurt, confused, and overwhelmed—by the events themselves
❌ Drowned in misinformation—with facts distorted or lost
❌ Concerned about rising antisemitism—both globally and locally
❌ Worried for our communities and children—as conversations became divisive or avoided altogether
Instead of staying in isolation, it was time to take action.
What is BCTC?
🔹 A grassroots initiative—creating spaces for real, face-to-face conversations
🔹 A welcoming environment—where people can ask tough questions and share different perspectives
🔹 A space for learning—building understanding, trust, and friendships across differences
Our gatherings bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds, faiths, and perspectives, fostering open and honest conversations in a respectful and welcoming space.
What Happens at a BCTC Event?
Each gathering is an opportunity to:
✅ Learn together—fact-based discussions on Israel, the Middle East, and rising antisemitism
✅ Share personal experiences—in a respectful, welcoming space
✅ Ask tough questions—and explore different viewpoints
✅ Strengthen our community—through knowledge and action
The overwhelming response has been clear: people want a space for these conversations. They want to learn. They want to understand. They want to connect.
And in a time of deep division, they are hungry for respectful, informed dialogue.
What’s Next?
📢 We’re Growing! In May 2024, we were already on our way to future events, expanding our impact to dozens of new people.
💬 We believe that change starts with dialogue—and the more voices at the table, the stronger our community becomes.
🙌 Thank You!
A huge thank you to everyone who has participated, supported this initiative, attended an event, or helped spread the word.
🌟 Let’s keep the momentum going! Together, we are creating spaces for real conversations—because understanding starts with listening.

🔹 Side Note: K-12 Education & Advocacy
A recurring topic in conversations has been education—particularly the narratives presented to children and the importance of ensuring balanced, factual learning environments. Efforts are ongoing to stay informed and engage with organizations working in this space.
For those interested, resources such as the PARENTS AI group provide updates and discussions on these issues. Further information can be explored through various advocacy channels.
