This year at Glastonbury, festivalgoers participated in a performance that had nothing to do with art, music, love, or life, but with death. When Bob Vylan frontman Bobby Vylan led the crowd in a chant of “Death, Death to the IDF,” he not only incited death but launched a new platform for supporting hate and terrorism. As a result, his visa to the United States has been revoked, and his upcoming tour consisting of more than 20 concerts has been cancelled.

Jew hatred in the UK is becoming more normalized, and more than 75% of British Jews feel unsafe in their home country and are actively weighing leaving the UK.

In today’s society, antisemitism is not only welcomed and encouraged, but is also widely not recognized as a form of oppression and prejudice. Although many communities are actively working to change that, there is still a lot of work that must be done.
