At its core, BCTC exists to support thoughtful, honest conversation. We are not a political organization. We do not take partisan positions, and we do not advance foreign, domestic, or ideological agendas.
What guides our work is simple. We are pro truth, pro facts, and pro education. We believe in basic civil and human rights, in transparency, in protecting kids, in strengthening community, and in choosing love while firmly rejecting hate.
When education is grounded in truth and transparency, it builds understanding and care; when it is not, it leaves room for fear, dehumanization, and hate to take root.
Education grounded in truth and transparency is essential to a world with less hatred. It shapes how learners understand difference, recognize shared humanity, and choose care over fear.
That commitment means paying close attention to what our children are taught and who helps shape that learning. Parents deserve transparency—everywhere. Schools should be places of learning, not persuasion. Education should inform, not indoctrinate.
Educational materials should not be shaped by outside interests without disclosure. The issue arises when curricula erase people or normalize hatred. The issue is not politics. It is trust.
We believe there should be no hidden agendas, no undisclosed outside influence in education, and no hate presented as learning. Our kids deserve better. Our communities deserve honesty.
Meaningful dialogue begins with facts, transparency, and care. That is the work we are committed to—today and going forward.
