Between Conversations, We’re Still Here
For the past two years, BCTC has been bringing people together.
In living rooms, community spaces, faith communities, schools and organizations, we’ve created conversations and programs that bring people from different backgrounds into the same room — to ask questions, share personal stories, learn from one another and talk about things that are not always easy to talk about.
We’ve seen what can happen when people who might otherwise remain strangers actually sit together. We’ve shared some of those experiences in posts like In A Living Room In Atlanta, People Said Things Out Loud and Real-Life Stories: Jew Hatred, Israel, Misinformation And The Questions We Don’t Always Ask .
Along the way, we’ve worked with different communities and organizations, built partnerships, participated in programs like What Does It Mean To Bear Witness Right Now? , developed programs and educational materials, and reached hundreds of people.
And we’ve learned a lot by doing it.
From the beginning, our conversations have been supported by education, personal stories, thoughtful questions and resources for going deeper .
Today, BCTC is much more than the couple of hours we spend together in a room.
We have educational materials, conversation guides, Q&As and fact sheets. We curate books, podcasts, movies, documentaries, videos and articles. We highlight people and projects worth following and voices we think deserve to be heard. We share outside organizations and educational resources we find useful. We write about what we’re seeing, learning and experiencing. And we offer practical ways to take what you learn into your own conversations and communities.
So we thought it was time to show you what’s here.

Before You Share That Headline…
Our media-literacy work: sources, framing, headlines, experts, images, social media, misinformation and how to think more critically about what reaches us.
Okay. Now What?
Ways to share, speak up, support, volunteer, donate, host, partner — or bring another conversation into your own community.
Maybe you have a question you didn’t ask. Maybe you want to understand something better. Find something to send a friend. Watch something with your family. Hear another perspective. Or figure out what you can actually do.
We Have Something For That.
Start exploring at BCTC — or follow along as we take you through it, one part at a time.
